The Dizzy Rooster is quickly becoming an iconic spot in Scoresby! It’s the perfect place for locals to enjoy a drink while soaking up fantastic live music. Rachael and Dillon bring such a welcoming and friendly energy that makes every visit feel special. I love that they’re a small business with a big heart, supporting emerging local artists and creating a warm, community‑first vibe. A must‑visit for anyone who wants great atmosphere and genuine local talent. We hired their upstairs room for a private function. Rachael & Dillon were so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Having use of our own private bar with dedicated bar staff was a huge hit with our 60 guests. Comfortable seating, flexible furniture arrangements, TV's to put photo slide shows. The venue was absolutely perfect.

Our 70th birthday function was just the best night! The Dizzy Rooster, with owner Dillon, was a great location with a wonderful atmosphere, very good amenities, very reasonable prices, terrific staff and management! We couldn't have asked for better! Highly recommended! Thank you Dillon & all.

A hidden gem. A cozy and inviting bar with a fantastic range of craft beer, small batch wines, and spirits. The owners of this place drop in from time to time and are the most down to earth guys you'll ever meet. The staff are friendly and always helpful. They have some toasties and cheeseboard on their menu, and they do have a collab with the burger joint next door so you can order food directly from your table. You can also bring your own food in as well, with no surcharge! They have live sports on big screens and a perfect function room upstairs. This place acts as a bottle shop too. If the doors are open, so is their bottle shop.

Best place around to grab a drink and enjoy the atmosphere, plenty of beers to choose from and the salted caramel espresso martini is a treat. Live music on weekends and livelier people. Can bring in food from any of the excellent take aways around the corner (or wherever else)

Five stars is not enough for the Dizzy Rooster! The incredible, hard-working family who runs this place went completely above and beyond to help me host my husband’s 40th birthday. They took care of every single detail, even ensuring they had my husband's favourite alcohol ready for him, which was amazing. Their incredible service and dedication turned it into a truly special night we will never forget. They made us feel just like family. It is hands-down the best spot around, and we will be back very soon!

Had my milestone birthday upstairs in the function room at Dizzy Rooster back in March and I honestly can’t praise the team enough. Dillon, Rach and the whole crew were incredibly friendly, welcoming and hospitable from the first inspection of the space right through to the event itself. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone had an amazing time and nothing was ever too much trouble. All of our guests had fantastic feedback about the venue, atmosphere and service. The whole night ran so smoothly and made the celebration even more special. Looking forward to booking our next event with the team at Dizzy Rooster!

We hosted our joint 30th birthday in their function space upstairs and I couldn’t recommend them more! Great little gem in the south east for an event or a casual drink. The team were super helpful and easygoing from the start and also made the night run smoothly for us. We had about 50 people and it was the perfect space to mingle and dance into the night with our own private bar. Special shoutout to Kev, the nicest, chillest bartender! (and of course Rachael and Dillon!).

This small bar just has the best vibe. Everyone feels welcome. The owners make you feel like part of the family. You can take food in with you and there are so many nearby great take away choices. Live music is amazing. Highly recommend.
